Shipping & Returns

Q: Domestic (USA) Order Processing Information

Sprocket Center is open weekdays (Mon-Fri). Most orders are processed and shipped from our California warehouse within 1-2 business days after the order is received. If order fulfillment is expected to take longer than 3 business days, we will contact you via email or phone. When you place an order, your credit card or PayPal account is charged immediately. This allows us to quickly begin processing and building your order. For special-order and non-returnable items such as wheelsets, rims, brake rotors, we may require phone contact with you to verify specs before processing begins. Orders that request shipping to an alternate or un-verified shipping address may be delayed and placed on hold until the payment can be verified by our processor. We do this to provide a secure and safe transaction for both parties.

Q: Standard Shipping for USA Orders

Orders over $129 will ship for FREE. Orders under $129 will ship for a flat rate of $7.95 to USA delivery addresses only. We can also ship to PO Boxes and APO addresses with this method. Orders shipped with FREE / Standard shipping are sent via USPS Priority Mail or First-Class service and Fed-EX ground. This service has an average 2-4 day transit time to most valid USA residential and business addresses. Please note that delivery times to some areas may be longer. We do not guarantee delivery dates with USPS shipping. An email will be sent to you once your package has left our facility. Package information can be viewed on our Track My Orders page or the USPS website, (www.usps.com). The USPS site does not allow exact tracking of the package or provide a guaranteed delivery date but you will be able to view the package transit progress and confirmed delivery time for most items. A signature may be required for orders over $300. Claims for non-delivery of the item must be made within 14 days of the scheduled delivery date.

Q: Express Shipping for USA Orders

SprocketCenter.com offers express shipping options with Fed-Ex such as 2-Day Air or Next Day Air. We make every effort to prioritize Express shipping orders, but please understand that the express shipping time does not include the possible 1-2 business day processing time. Most orders are shipped by the next business day. Example: An order placed Monday night with 2-day Air shipping is not actually received by us until Tuesday. So we try our best to get it shipped Tuesday or Wednesday for 2-day delivery on Thursday or Friday. If our processing is expected to take longer than 2 business days after we receive the order, we will contact you via phone or email. Fed-Ex does not count Saturday as a business, day, so orders shipped Friday via 2-day Air, will be delivered on Tuesday. In this case, we may send your item via USPS Priority Mail for faster delivery on Monday. Express shipping options can ONLY be shipped to the authorized/verified Billing Address of the payment method used. Any orders with alternate shipping addresses may be canceled or delayed. We will email the tracking information once the item has been shipped. Package information can be viewed here on our Track My Orders page or at www.fedex.com. If you have questions about express shipping options or expected delivery dates, please contact us before ordering. A signature may be required for orders over $300. Q: International Orders Processing & Shipping Information

All prices shown on the website are in US Dollars. International orders are generally processed and shipped within 2-4 business days. If the order fulfillment is expected to take longer, we will attempt to contact you by email to discuss options. All International Orders are shipped using US Postal Service (USPS) Global Priority Mail. This service has an average transit time of 4-10 days. For some destinations, delivery times may be significantly longer due to your local customs or post office. There are absolutely no delivery date guarantees for international orders. Package information can be viewed on our Track My Orders page or the USPS website, (www.usps.com). The USPS site does not allow exact tracking of the package or provide a guaranteed delivery date but you will be able to view the package transit progress and confirmed delivery time for most items. You can also track the item using the same tracking # with your local postal service.

Because International shipping rates vary, you must choose the correct shipping options for your country. Failure to do so will delay your order being processed. We DO NOT calculate or collect any taxes, VAT, duties, or customs fees, these are the responsibility of the customer.

These rates do not apply for large items or shipments over 20 lbs. Before ordering rotors /rims /wheels sets or items that would total more that 2 complete sprocket kits, please contact us for an accurate shipping quote. If you have questions or would like a quote please e-mail us and include your complete "ship to" address and the items you’d like to order.

Q: Product Returns and Exchanges

Sprocket Center will replace any product that was shipped in error by us as quickly as possible. Replacement items will be shipped using the same method as the original order. We will include a pre-paid return label to get the incorrect item back.

SOME ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE - (SEE BELOW)

Sprocket Center will only accept returns or exchanges within 30 days from the date your package was delivered. Before returning any item for any reason, please first contact us via email or call us at 888-265-2141 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We cannot accept returned merchandise without a prior RMA. Return shipping costs and other incidental fees are the sole responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or shipped in error. Sprocket Center is not responsible for any damage or loss of returned packages and we suggest that you insure the returned package(s) through the shipping carrier. If your item originally qualified for free freight and you are returning it, the actual cost to originally ship your item to you will be deducted from the amount of the refund.

Returns and exchanges must be in new condition and include the original product packaging. Packaging that has been opened is OK, but any parts that have been installed, damaged while attempting to install, mounted, fitted, modified, and/or used in any manner will not be accepted for return or exchange. For items returned for refund, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be assessed. There is no restocking fee for any item returned for an exchange or purchase of a new item. If you return any one item from a multiple part kit or package deal (chain/sprocket kit), the items being kept from the kit /package deal will revert to regular pricing and the customer will receive a refund of the remainder after pricing has been recalculated to reflect original pricing.

Due to the nature of the made-to-order custom-built chain kits, some chain kits may not be returned. These generally include any chain kits built with non-stock sizes, non-standard sprockets, and/or chain lengths. We want to work with you to get you the right parts, but it our sole discretion if we choose a accept a return or exchange for a custom chain kit. If you have any questions about the correct kit for your motorcycle model, please contact us before placing an order. Some chains of certain lengths cannot be returned. Generally, chains under 108 links or over 130 links will not be accepted for returns or exchanges. Please contacts with any questions about chain lengths or colors, before placing an order.

ITEMS THAT ARE NOT RETURNABLE - Please be 100% sure you are purchasing the correct part for your bike YEAR and MODEL
** Any ELECTRONIC parts are not returnable. This includes PowerCommander modules, Speedo DRD units, and any other electric parts. We have no way to test these parts, so they cannot be returned for any reason. If you feel the part is defective, we will help you contact the MFG for warranty help. But if you simply ordered the wrong part, unfortunately cannot be returned.
** VORTEX Sprockets are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Please confirm your bike fitment and that the color is what you want. Vortex sprocket colors are not standard due the nature offing anodized. They may not match your bike or colors of other components.
** TOOLS cannot be returned (this includes chain tools). No exceptions!
** MASTER-LINKS cannot be returned. Please be sure to order the correct that EXACTLY matches the chain. There are no "universal" master-links. (example - 525VO and 525VX links are NOT the same and are NOT interchangeable)
** CLOSEOUT merchandise sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged. Sprocket Center will not accept exchanges for items that are on clearance or discontinued.

Q: How do I know what parts to get for my motorcycle?

The best way is to simply give us a call at 888-265-2141. Our knowledgeable staff can quickly and easily help you get the right parts. If you prefer to browse the site, please start at the Homepage and use the Parts Finder. If your model is not listed please give us a call. We have thousands of sprockets for older and obscure models that are not listed on the site.

Q: How can I tell if an item is in stock?

Due to the thousands of combinations for sprocket size, color, length and model options we offer with our sprockets and chain kit, it is difficult to show real-time info for every product and option. We work with a network of awesome suppliers that allow us to quickly get parts, so we can build and ship your order as fast as possible. To check the availability of any part, please contact us.

Q: How much is shipping?

Orders over $129 ship for FREE !! Orders under $129 ship for just $7.95 for all USA delivery addresses. For these standard shipping methods we use USPS Priority & First-Class mail with a 3-5 day delivery time. We also offer faster shipping options (2-day and Next Day) with Fed-Ex or UPS. Pricing for all shipping options is shown in the cart.

Q: When will I get my stuff?

SprocketCenter.com ships most orders from Southern California (USA). Occasionally some items will be shipped direct to you from the suppler/vendor. Most orders begin processing the same day and most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days. A ship notification email is sent within 24 hours of your order being shipped. You can also retrieve your tracking information by clicking here for the Track My Orders page. Some items (Wheel Sets, Rims and some Chain Kits) may take a bit longer to build and ship out. Q: Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Yes, we can ship to PO boxes provided the address is the same as the Billing Address. These orders will ship via USPS Priority Mail or First-Class. PO Box addresses are not eligible for express shipping options.

Q: Do you ship to APO / Military addresses?

Yes, APO orders will be shipped via US Postal Priority Mail. APO order will take up 2-3 business days longer to ship.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

Q: What if my parts don't fit?

We try have a lenient return policy as we know mistakes happen. Most items can be returned or exchanged as long as they have not been used, installed or mounted in any way. Items NOT eligible for return or exchange include all Electronics, Tools, Wheel-Sets, Rims and some custom chain kits. For more specific information, see our RETURNS POLICY page or contact us.

Q: When will you charge my credit card or PayPal account?

When you place an order, your credit card or PayPal account is charged immediately. This allows us to begin processing and building your order quickly. For some orders, we may need additional information to verify your payment. Orders that request shipping to alternate or un-verified addresses may be delayed. Orders may be placed on hold and/or canceled until the payment can be verified. We do this to provide a secure and safe transaction and to protect front fraudulent charges.

Q: Can I use a pre-paid gift card for payment?

You can use the pre-paid gift card (Visa/MasterCard/AMEX/Discover) on our site by following this tip. Most pre-paid gift cards allow you to register them online (with the card issuer) and create a Billing/Shipping Address. Sorry, but we do not accept returns on closeout items. These are generally new, old stock or discontinued items being offered with a big discount. Please confirm fitment before purchasing.

Orders shipping to a California address will be charged 8.75% sales tax. Orders shipping to any other US state will not be charged a sales tax. Customers are responsible to pay any use taxes levied by their home state.
