This 520 conversion kit contains sprockets and chain that are narrower than the stock parts. No modifications are required to install this kit. This 520 kit can shave 1 to 2 pounds of weight off the drive-train. This reduction of un-sprung weight will provide better acceleration, braking and suspension feel for your Honda CBR.
The Superlite RSX rear sprocket has a tooth profile designed for better chain contact and longevity. The unique spoke design gives these sprockets superior strength and the recessed face provides maximum weight savings. The RSX sprocket weighs only slightly more than an aluminum sprocket, but will last 2-3 times longer! The Superlite brand front sprockets are made of tough chromoly-steel and are cross drilled for weight reduction.
