Sprocket Center take the guesswork out of replacing your YAMAHA R1 sprockets & chain. This kit feature VORTEX brand sprockets with your choice of chain. Both Stock and Quick-Acceleration gearing are available. You choose the sprocket sizes and we will cut chain to the correct length. The Hard-Coated VORTEX rear sprockets included with this kit last longer than standard alloy sprockets. Average life on a well maintained chain kit is 7-10k miles. A steel rear sprocket will last 18-20K.
Each kit includes the following.
- (1) Vortex chromoly-steel front sprocket, you choose the size
- (1) Vortex brand rear sprocket (aluminum or Steel)
- Your choice of DID, BM, RK or EK premium X'ring chain - cut to length
- (1) matching rivet-type master link (chain tool required for proper install)
*Most orders receive the correct length chain. Due to differences in gearing options and wheel-base, some chains may need to be shortened. Always check chain length before riveting the master-link.
